Pfizer tests new shot to help millions breathe easier

Summary

This study is testing whether a new medicine called PF-07275315 can help people with moderate-to-severe COPD breathe better and have fewer serious flare-ups. About 1,156 adults with COPD who have had at least two recent flare-ups will receive either the actual medicine or placebo shots over 24-52 weeks. Researchers will compare the two groups to see if the medicine is safe and effective at improving lung function and reducing breathing attacks.
