Researchers test new, cheaper capsule to pinpoint stubborn constipation
NCT ID NCT06850415
Summary
This study tested a new, locally-made capsule designed to help doctors diagnose slow transit constipation, a specific type of chronic constipation. Researchers compared this new capsule to a standard test to see if it worked just as well. Participants took both capsules and had an abdominal X-ray five days later to see how many markers from each capsule remained.
