Scientists test new weapon against Tough-to-Treat bladder cancer

Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and best dose of a new two-drug combination for people with advanced bladder cancer that has spread and no longer responds to standard immunotherapy. The trial combines an experimental pill (CA-4948) with an existing immunotherapy drug (pembrolizumab) to see if it can help the immune system fight the cancer again. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if the treatment can shrink tumors in this difficult-to-treat patient group.
