Breakthrough blood test could spot colon cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT07414082
Summary
This study aims to find better ways to detect colorectal cancer early by testing two new blood markers called Talin-1 and Cripto-1. Researchers will compare these markers in 70 people with colorectal cancer against healthy individuals to see if they're more accurate than current blood tests. The goal is to develop a simpler method that could help catch this cancer sooner, especially in older adults who often show fewer typical symptoms.
