Blood test breakthrough could spot colon cancer sooner
NCT ID NCT07414082
Summary
This study aims to see if measuring two specific proteins (Talin-1 and Cripto-1) in the blood can help doctors detect colorectal cancer. Researchers will compare blood samples from 70 people with colorectal cancer to samples from healthy people. The goal is to find a better, simpler way to catch this cancer early, especially since symptoms can be vague and lead to late diagnosis.
