New hope for frail leukemia patients: gentler Three-Drug combo enters trial
NCT ID NCT05566054
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a drug called chidamide to an existing two-drug combination (venetoclax and azacytidine) is more effective for treating a specific type of acute leukemia. It is for newly diagnosed patients who are older or have other health problems that make them unable to tolerate standard, more aggressive chemotherapy. The main goals are to see if this three-drug regimen leads to remission and is safe for these patients.
