Experimental drug aims to rally immune system against tough blood cancers

Summary
This is a first-in-human study testing a new drug called CLN-049 in adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) that has returned or stopped responding to other treatments. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see how the drug moves through the body. CLN-049 is designed to help the patient's own immune T-cells find and attack the cancer cells.
