Experimental drug aims to rally immune system against tough blood cancers

Summary
This is the first study in people of an experimental drug called CLN-049 for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) that has returned or stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see how the drug moves through the body. The drug works by directing the patient's own immune cells to attack the cancer cells.
