First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at a new method to analyze electrical signals in the heart to better locate the abnormal tissue causing atrial fibrillation (AFib). Researchers will review data from 336 patients who had a standard AFib ablation procedure. They will compare maps from patients who stayed free of AFib for at least a year after the procedure with those whose AFib returned. The goal is to improve future ablation technology and success rates.
