First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at a new method to analyze electrical signals in the heart to help doctors know exactly where to burn (ablate) abnormal tissue causing atrial fibrillation (AFib). Researchers will study data from 336 people who had AFib ablation, comparing those who stayed free of AFib for at least a year with those who had a recurrence. The goal is to develop better mapping technology to improve success rates.
