First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a nerve stimulation technique (neuromodulation) to standard exercise therapy can improve pain, movement, and quality of life in adults with upper limb muscle or joint problems. About 120 participants will be split into four groups: some get exercise plus real neuromodulation either two or three times a week for six months, while others get exercise plus a sham (fake) treatment. The goal is to see if the extra stimulation leads to better outcomes than exercise alone.
