First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether a small device that sends mild electrical pulses through the skin can reduce abdominal pain in adults with gastroparesis-like symptoms (slow stomach emptying). About 140 participants will receive either the real device or a sham (fake) treatment for 4 weeks. The main goal is to see if the device lowers pain scores better than the sham.
