New scan could sharpen neuroblastoma staging in kids

Summary

This study compares a new imaging technique (68Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT) with the standard scan (123I-MIBG) in 20 children with neuroblastoma, a common childhood cancer. The goal is to see if the new method is safe and provides clearer pictures to guide treatment decisions. Participants must be newly diagnosed or have a recurrence and be between 1 day and 21 years old.
