New scan could better spot childhood cancer

Summary

This study tests a new imaging technique (68Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT) for children with neuroblastoma, a common childhood tumor. It compares this method to the standard 123I-MIBG scan to see which better detects tumors. The goal is to improve staging and treatment decisions. About 20 children up to age 21 will participate.
