NCT ID NCT07589816

First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested whether adding special brain-focused exercises (neuro-athletic training) to regular practice helps elite soccer goalkeepers improve their balance, explosive strength, and agility. Sixteen male goalkeepers either did the extra training or stuck with their usual routine for 8 weeks. The goal was to see if training the brain could lead to better physical performance on the field.
