Nerve stretches may ease tennis elbow pain, study hopes
NCT ID NCT07027059
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding nerve-focused exercises to standard care can reduce pain and central sensitization (when the nervous system becomes overly sensitive) in people with tennis elbow. About 30 adults aged 18-65 with a tennis elbow diagnosis will be randomly split into two groups: one gets routine exercises and shockwave therapy, the other adds nerve mobilization exercises. The goal is to see if these nerve exercises improve pain and sensitivity better than standard treatment alone.
