Nerve stretches may soothe tennis elbow pain
NCT ID NCT07027059
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding nerve-focused exercises to standard care can reduce pain and nerve sensitivity in people with tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis). About 30 adults aged 18-65 will be randomly assigned to receive either routine exercises plus shockwave therapy, or the same plus neural mobilization exercises. The goal is to see if these nerve stretches improve pain and reduce central sensitization, a condition where the nervous system becomes overly sensitive to pain.
