First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested two non-invasive nerve stimulation methods—one on the ankle and one on the lower back—to help women with multiple sclerosis who have overactive bladder symptoms like frequent urination and leakage. 42 women participated, and researchers measured changes in bladder function and quality of life. The goal was to see if these gentle electrical treatments could reduce symptoms without medication.
