Ear device could help kidney Patients' hearts
NCT ID NCT05981183
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a device that gently stimulates a nerve through the ear is safe and tolerable for people with chronic kidney disease. Researchers want to see if this stimulation affects heart rate variability and blood pressure, which are linked to heart health. The results will help design a larger future study to see if this approach might reduce heart-related risks in kidney disease patients.
