Implanted device zaps nerves to fight debilitating headaches

NCT ID NCT07113470

Summary

This study is testing a small implanted device called PRIMUS that stimulates nerves in the head to prevent chronic cluster headaches. It's for people whose headaches haven't responded well to the standard medication verapamil. Researchers want to see if stimulating two nerve areas together is safe and effective at reducing headache frequency and severity.
