First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a new, more precise method of numbing individual nerves in the lower back to find exactly which one is causing leg and back pain. 80 adults with ongoing pain will receive this guided nerve block before planned surgery. The goal is to see if this technique can more accurately identify the problem nerve, leading to better surgical results and fewer wrong diagnoses.
