First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding nerve mobilization (gentle stretching exercises for the median nerve) to standard physical therapy (ultrasound) helps people with mild-to-moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. 86 adults participated. Researchers measured pain, hand strength, and nerve size before and after three weeks of treatment. The goal was to see if the combined approach offers extra benefits for symptom relief.
