Doctors test if less anesthetic for arm surgery is safer
NCT ID NCT06428461
Summary
This study looked at how different amounts of a numbing injection for arm surgery affect pain control and side effects. Researchers gave 64 adults having hand, wrist, or elbow surgery one of two different doses of the nerve block. They also used ultrasound to check if the injection affected a measurement linked to pressure around the brain.
