Doctors test if nerve block dose affects brain pressure in arm surgery
NCT ID NCT06428461
Summary
This study looked at how different amounts of a numbing injection near the shoulder affect pain control for arm surgery. Researchers gave 64 adults having hand, wrist, or elbow surgery one of several doses of this nerve block. They measured how well the block worked for pain and checked if the different doses changed a measurement linked to pressure inside the skull.
