Researchers test drug to make surgery numbing last longer

Summary
This study aims to find the best dose of a drug called dexmedetomidine to make a numbing nerve block last longer after arm surgery. Researchers will compare three different doses added to the standard numbing medicine. The goal is to provide patients with more extended pain relief following their operation.
