First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a continuous nerve block (CINB) plus standard pain medicine works better than standard medicine alone for people with multiple broken ribs. About 180 adults with at least two rib fractures will take part. The goal is to see if the nerve block shortens hospital stays and lowers pain scores.
