Numbing nerves before nose job could cut surgery painkillers
NCT ID NCT07233538
Summary
This study is testing if a numbing injection (nerve block) given before nose reshaping surgery can reduce the amount of strong painkillers needed during the operation and help control pain afterward. Researchers will compare 90 patients, with half receiving the nerve block and half receiving standard general anesthesia alone. They will measure painkiller use during surgery, pain scores after surgery, and how quickly patients recover.
