Summary
This study is testing a new way to manage pain after cleft palate repair surgery in children. Instead of relying heavily on strong opioid painkillers, doctors are testing a targeted nerve block injected near the cheekbone. The goal is to see if this block can reduce pain, lower the need for opioids, and help children start eating and go home from the hospital sooner.
