First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking a targeted drug (olaparib) plus hormone therapy for 6 months before prostate removal surgery can eliminate or shrink tumors in men with high-risk prostate cancer. Participants must have specific gene changes (HRR alterations). The goal is to see if this approach leads to no cancer or only tiny spots of cancer left at surgery.
