First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving immunotherapy (cemiplimab alone or with fianlimab) before surgery can shrink advanced basal cell skin cancers of the head and neck. About 70 adults will receive 2 to 6 infusions before their operation. The goal is to see if the tumors respond enough to allow less extensive, function-preserving surgery. The study is currently recruiting.
