Engineered donor cells take aim at tough T-Cell cancers

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new treatment for people with T-cell leukemia or lymphoma that has come back. The treatment uses specially trained immune cells from a healthy donor, designed to recognize and attack cancer cells carrying a marker called CD7. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and can shrink tumors, though it is not expected to be a cure and ongoing management may still be needed.
