New combo therapy targets tough kidney cancer clots

Summary
This study tests giving focused radiation to a blood clot in the main vein caused by kidney cancer, followed by surgery to remove the clot and tumor. It includes 25 newly diagnosed patients. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and helps prevent the cancer from coming back within a year.
