Summary

This study tests whether adding neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NEMS) to voluntary muscle contractions helps chronic stroke survivors with leg weakness. 25 participants will either receive standard physical therapy or NEMS combined with active ankle movements. Researchers will measure changes in spasticity, range of motion, and muscle strength over 12 weeks.
