New wound dressing could speed healing for obese women after breast reconstruction

Summary
This study looks at whether a special vacuum dressing (negative pressure wound therapy) helps heal the belly incision better than standard bandages in obese women having breast reconstruction surgery. About 80 participants will be randomly assigned to one of two dressing types. The goal is to reduce wound healing problems like opening of the incision.
