Summary
This study looked at whether adding the drug nefopam to standard pain relief (morphine and paracetamol) can reduce the amount of morphine needed after major colon surgery. 80 adults having planned surgery for colon cancer or diverticulosis took part. The main goal was to measure total morphine use after the operation.
