Summary
This study tested whether a gel made from neem, a natural plant extract, can treat oral lichen planus, a chronic inflammatory mouth condition. Sixty adults used either neem gel or a standard steroid paste twice daily for three months. Researchers measured pain, lesion severity, and anxiety to see if neem is a safe and effective alternative.
