First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tested if a needle-free injector causes less pain than a traditional dental needle when numbing the palate in children aged 6-16. Fifty kids needing a permanent molar extraction received both methods. Pain was measured using two standard scales. The goal was to find a more comfortable way to give dental anesthesia.
