Peptide PET scan could light up hidden cancer targets
NCT ID NCT07319130
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a new PET/CT imaging method that uses a radioactive peptide to find a protein called Nectin-4 on solid tumors. Researchers will scan 10 people with cancers like breast or bladder cancer that have high Nectin-4 levels. The goal is to see if this scan can show where the protein is in the body, which could help doctors plan better treatments.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- 68Ga-labeled Nectin-4 bicyclic peptide
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could provide a non-invasive way to see Nectin-4 levels in tumors, helping doctors choose better treatments and monitor disease.
- What could go wrong
- This is a very early, small study with only 10 participants, so results may not apply widely. The imaging method may not be accurate enough or could have unexpected side effects.

Inclusion Criteria: * 1\. Age: 18 to 75 years old (including the boundary value), gender not limited. 2. Solid tumors (such as urothelial carcinoma, breast cancer, lung cancer, etc.) that have been pathologically diagnosed with high expression of Nectin-4 within one month before imaging. 3\. At least one evaluable tumor lesion (primary or metastatic) exists. 4. Voluntarily sign the informed consent form and be able to cooperate with the research process. 5.ECOG score: 0 to 2 points, expected survival period: ≥6 months. Exclusion Criteria: * 1\. Combined with other active malignant tumors (excluding non-melanoma skin cancer or carcinoma in situ). 2\. Severe heart, liver and kidney insufficiency (such as ALT/AST \>3 times ULN, creatinine clearance rate \<30 mL/min). 3\. Uncontrolled systemic infections or immune system diseases. 4. Pregnant or lactating women, or patients of childbearing age who have not taken effective contraceptive measures. 5\. Previously received Nectin-4 targeted therapy (such as Enfortumab vedotin).
