First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special wound dressing (Cytal Wound Matrix and MicroMatrix) helps wounds heal faster after surgery for necrotizing fasciitis, a serious flesh-eating infection. About 50 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the new dressing or standard wound care. The main goal is to see how quickly the wound is ready for skin grafting.
