First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested whether stretching or self-massaging the neck can improve flexibility in both the neck and the hip on the same side of the body. Thirty healthy adults each tried both techniques in random order. Researchers measured range of motion and tissue stiffness before and after each session to see if effects spread beyond the treated area.
