Hands-On healing: which therapy works best for stiff, painful necks?
NCT ID NCT07395154
Summary
This study compares two different hands-on physical therapy techniques for treating painful knots in the neck and shoulder muscles. Researchers will test whether the Integrated Neuromuscular Inhibition Technique (INIT) or the Active Release Technique (ART) works better to reduce pain, improve neck movement, and help with daily activities. The study will involve 64 adults with recent neck pain from muscle knots, who will receive one of the two therapies and be assessed before and after treatment.
