Neck pain mystery: oxygen in muscles linked to daily function
NCT ID NCT07241312
First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at 51 people with chronic neck pain to see how oxygen levels in the neck muscles relate to arm exercise ability, muscle strength, and everyday activities. Researchers measured muscle oxygen with a special device and tested arm function with a pegboard and ring test. The goal was to better understand the connections between these factors, not to test a treatment.
