Neck pain study reveals muscle oxygen clues

NCT ID NCT07241312

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looked at 51 people with chronic neck pain to see how oxygen levels in the neck muscles relate to arm exercise ability, muscle strength, and daily activities. Researchers used a special device to measure muscle oxygen and tested arm function with a pegboard and ring test. The goal was to better understand the links between these factors, not to provide a treatment.
