First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special stretching technique called Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) can reduce pain and improve movement in people with chronic neck pain and tight hamstrings. About 156 adults aged 18-40 will be split into two groups: one gets the new PNF method, the other gets standard stretches. Researchers will measure pain, neck movement, and flexibility over 6 weeks to see which approach works better.
