Doctors review old cases to see if aggressive neck surgery helps tough cancer
NCT ID NCT07180173
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to understand if surgery to remove lymph nodes in the neck, done before radiation treatment, helps patients with a very advanced stage of nasopharyngeal cancer. Researchers analyzed data from 7 patients to see if this approach was linked to better cancer control and longer survival. The goal was to learn from past treatments to guide future care for this high-risk group.
