Doctors review past cases to see if neck surgery before radiation helps fight advanced cancer
NCT ID NCT07180173
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to understand if surgery to remove lymph nodes in the neck before radiation treatment helps patients with advanced nasopharyngeal cancer. Researchers analyzed data from 7 patients to see if this approach improved survival or prevented the cancer from returning in the neck or spreading elsewhere. The goal was to learn from past treatments to guide better care for future patients.
