NCT ID NCT07214129
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at whether breathing in nitroglycerin (a medicine that opens blood vessels) is safe and effective for people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a condition where lung blood vessels narrow. Twenty adults with PAH took part. The goal was to see if the spray could widen lung arteries. This was a small, early-stage study focused on understanding how the drug works, not on curing the disease.
