New bladder cancer drug could help patients avoid surgery

Summary

This phase 3 study tests a drug called NDV-01 in about 393 adults with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. The drug is given directly into the bladder to help prevent the cancer from coming back or getting worse. The study includes people with intermediate-risk disease and those with high-risk disease that has not responded to standard treatment, aiming to offer an alternative to bladder removal.
