First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a 24-week lifestyle program for unemployed adults receiving employment services. The program included online classes and one-on-one coaching on topics like healthy eating, stress management, and exercise. Researchers measured changes in weight, blood pressure, and psychological distress over 12 months. The goal was to see if this approach could lower chronic disease risks in a disadvantaged population.
