First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a special helper called an oncology research navigator (ORN) to standard cancer care helps patients learn about and join clinical trials and support services. About 686 adults with new cancer appointments at UNC Medical Center will take part. The goal is to see if the ORN improves quality of life and increases participation in studies and supportive care.
